Our client is a specialist insurance broker, seeking an M&A attorney for a transactional front-office style role.
In this position, you will be negotiating insurance contracts that allow buyers or businesses to be able to recover from a seller post-closing and following a breach of, or inaccuracy in, a representation given in the purchase agreement. Day to day will involve purchase agreements, disclosure agreements, and due diligence reports. This attorney will be the primary point of contact with their clients. You will also be pitching these services to new clients.
The client prefers to have collaboration in-office, but can consider hybrid as well. The role can be located in Los Angeles or Miami. The work culture is supportive with great work-life balance, and the position has amazing growth opportunity.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from ABA accredited university, membership in good standing of State Bar
- M&A background
- 1-3 years of experience
- Top law firm background
- Willingness to come into the office for collaboration
- Entrepreneurial mindset
