Technology Lawyer - 12 month FTC
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our client, a top international City law firm for a technology lawyer for 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role is due to start as soon as possible.
The technology practice is ranked highly in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, and the team assists clients with the acquisition, development, protection, exploitation, licensing and sale of technology. The practice handles technology law, Fin tech, outsourcing, intellectual property and commercial law and data protection, e-commerce and consumer protection legislation both in a standalone context, and as part of technology deals.
The successful technology lawyer is likely to have upwards of 5+ PQE, with a solid technology background and the ability to take the lead on matters, and who can run corporate deals from an IT/IP and a data protection perspective, as well as advise on commercial contracts and related issues. Ability to advise on data protection law is an advantage.
