Our client is a leading life insurance and financial institution with significant operations across the globe. They are seeking a Senior Manager, Company Secretary to take lead and manage their company secretarial function for their local operation here in Hong Kong.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the General Counsel based in Hong Kong, you would be responsible for handling a full spectrum of company secretarial matters arising from the operation of the business (inc. drafting board resolutions and arranging board and shareholder meetings). You would work directly with the Senior Management and CEO and be regarded as a trusted advisor to the business. You would be involved in ensuring regulated company secretarial records for the company and its subsidiaries in accordance with relevant Companies Legislation, as well as timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings with Companies Registry and relevant regulators.
What you will need to succeed
The ideal candidate is qualified company secretary with 8+ years of corporate secretarial experience working in listed HK company. Prior FI / insurance experience is MANDATORY. The candidate must also be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Fluency in both Chinese and English languages is a must.
