Fantastic opportunity to join an established media company in London. This exciting opportunity is a key senior role within the legal team in a developing area, working on a range of programming and content matters with an opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial contracts from across the business.

Responsibilities will include managing a broad range of complex and high value commercial legal matters in the programming and digital entertainment sector, , with primary responsibility for legal advice relating to channel carriage agreements across all media, devices and platforms; VOD / EST content acquisition; App development and carriage; innovative content partnerships and product launches; advertising partnerships; and music and collecting societies.

The successful applicant will have an excellent academic record; be a qualified lawyer and recognised legal expert in the media and content industry, with proven track record of execution of commercial contracts and transactional experience and at least 7 years post-qualification experience in leading significant, high-profile matters in a consumer-facing business or top tier/ City private practice. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and become an integral part of the legal team and company.
