I have been exclusively retained on a Private Equity Funds Legal role with a highly active mid-market private equity firm.
The role is a newly created role reporting directly to the COO. The focus of this role will be identifying and resolving issues with existing legal structures and helping to devise new structures. The tasks will be varied, and the role is expected to be primarily project based.
This is a senior role within the group working closely with the COO, General Counsel, Operations Assistant, Finance Director, UK Financial Controller, Head of Investor Relations, and deal executives. You will be supporting teams across the UK and Europe.
The role will be working closely with the deal team providing advice and guidance on the technical aspects of transactions with a primary focus on the matters that impact the group and its employees, its funds, or its investors. You will be initiating, assisting on, or leading projects in relation to the firm's funds' structure, constitution, and economic arrangement. You will also be assisting the Investor Relations and Operations teams in devising and forming new fund structures across a variety of jurisdictions and assisting on any future fund raising.
The ideal candidate will have strong academics and will have trained with a top or mid-tier firm and have strong Private Equity Funds experience. This is an excellent and rare opportunity for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills and who is comfortable in operating in a complex financial environment and enjoys working with different investment vehicles and structures.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
