Great opportunity for a private practice lawyer looking to make their first move in-house, or for an in-house lawyer to continue with their development. This role is within the telecommunications sector; you'll benefit from handling good quality work for a British company, but on an international scale. You'll have a broad workload, and also play an integral part in the company's continuous growth plans.

This Legal Counsel role is with a telecommunications company that are looking to expand their mid-size legal team by at least two hires.

Role Overview

This will be an extremely varied role, working as part of a UK based legal team.

The role will involve;

  • Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements, including distribution, supplier, service, consultancy, and affiliate marketing agreements
  • Supporting the Head of Legal, and Senior Legal Counsels, with other legal matters such as M&As, litigation, compliance and governance.
  • Working with regulators across the world to support the regulatory needs of the business (applications for licences, authorisations, numbering ranges etc.)

What they're looking for

You'll be a qualified lawyer, either looking to make your first move in-house, or already be within an in-house setting. It is essential that you are confident and thrive in a fast-paced role. This role would best suit someone NQ-2 PQE.
