LEGAL COUNSEL - TECH SCALE-UP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior lawyer to join the expanding legal team of a rapidly growing technology company who are hitting multiple rounds of funding amidst its international expansion.
About the role;
Reporting to the VP of Legal & Compliance, you will undertake a broad variety of work, working closely with all teams in the business, initially with a particular focus on supporting the Sales and Marketing teams. Acting on all general commercial matters you will work on legal projects across the business to drive the next phase of growth. A typical day may include contract reviews, negotiating terms of business, and advising other parts of the business on ad hoc matters.
You must be a UK qualified lawyer between 0- 2 years' PQE. Ideally, you will have at least three months' in-house or commercial experience either through a secondment or previous non-legal role. In-house experience gained at a technology company would be beneficial. This role would be great for someone who is commercially astute and happy to handle the wide range of legal issues that come up in a start-up environment.
