Our client is one of the elite offshore law firms with a long heritage in the Caribbean and an exceptional reputation around the world. They have strong relationships with the leading onshore firms in London and New York and as a result are instructed on some of the largest and most complex disputes to go through the courts in Grand Cayman.

The firm's global disputes team is spread across Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean ensuring that they are able to advise on offshore matters around the world. They have a strong pipeline of work that is set to grow over the coming months and years, so would like to identify an experienced barrister or solicitor to join in their continuing success.

Successful candidates will enjoy a varied work load of corporate/commercial litigation and contentious insolvency. Alongside this, you will receive a globally competitive tax-free remuneration package and the opportunity to maintain an international legal practice while living on an idyllic Caribbean island.

In order to be considered for this role you will:

  • Be a UK qualified solicitor or barrister, with at least 7 years' call / post-qualification experience
  • Have been a member of a highly regarded set of chambers or well-known law firm
  • Have experience of one or more of the following areas: commercial litigation; financial disputes; contentious insolvency; general chancery matters
