Our client, a boutique law firm, is looking for an experienced litigator to join its high profile financial services disputes team on a fixed-term contract between three and six months in length.

Illustrative of the firm's treatment of disputes as its flagship practice, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside partners highly-praised in legal directories for their work on a range of matters concerning, but not limited to; inter-bank rate manipulation, syndicated and distressed debt, securitisation and misrepresentation. Sitting within the wider disputes practice, the banking and finance team has a strong reputation of working on high profile pieces of litigation, whilst remaining a supportive and collegiate environment in which to work. The team places particular emphasis on associates' development of legal and commercial skills, providing intensive monthly sessions with internal and external experts.

Whilst experience of banking and financial services litigation is desirable, our client has expressed interest in general commercial litigators with experience of complex, high value disputes (£10m - £500m) and some exposure to the financial services sector. The successful applicant will benefit from a competitive salary, exposure to a dynamic practice enjoying extensive organic growth, and have a unique opportunity to work on challenging cross-border matters.
